It’s that time of the year when it seems that every major author releases a book! There are so many new books it’s hard to choose. Force

I have just read the new Jane Harper - Force of Nature. I couldn’t put it down and I can imagine other fans of her first book, The Dry, will love it.

I have been dipping into the Tim Rogers biography – Detours. It’s an unflinchingly honest look at a life in music and a beautiful read.

I have also just read Sophie Hannah’s – Did You See Melody which kept me guessing until the end.

Ottolenghi is at it again. This time he is all about deserts with his sumptuous new cookbook –Sweet. One look and you won’t be able to resist.

AtMySpeaking of cookbooks, Nigella has a new book out - At My Table. This time she is showing us what she has at home. Comfort food at its best!

Hayley has read Nevernight by Australian author Jay Kristoff. It’s a great fantasy novel featuring a smart-talking shadowcat and an orphan assassin. The sequel Godsgrave is just out now.

Kathie has read The Bottom of Your Heart by Maurizio De Giovanni featuring Commissario Ricciardi. She said it was just as enjoyable as the previous novels and paints a rich picture of Naples.

Tom has just read American Gods by Neil Gaiman before watching the TV series and thoroughly enjoyed it. As usual, there is so much more to the book than the show and well worth the read.

NevermoorOne book we have all read is a new children’s book called Nevermoor. It’s a must for fans of Harry Potter. Written by Australian author Jessica Townsend, it is an amazing tale set in an elaborately drawn world of magic and mystery. We are all very excited that it is in store now!

Happy Reading,
