We collect personal information only for the purposes of administering book clubs and reward programs, providing goods and services, processing online sales and direct mailouts/eNews.
Your personal information is never disclosed to third parties except where necessary for these purposes. All administration involving customer information is done in-house by employees of Megalong Books (ABN 44 394 327 538).
Online payments are processed securely by PayPal or by eWay. Megalong Books does not store your credit card details, nor do we have access to them.
We will never sell your personal information.

You may at any time request to see and/or update the information we hold on you. You can do this in person, by phone or email to email@example.com.
Orders will be processed on the same or next business day. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday Australia Post.
Orders should arrive between 2-14 business days to most major locations in Australia and overseas.
In most cases, you will receive tracking by email. Please contact us if you are concerned your purchase has been delayed.
If booking tickets to an event online you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. You will not receive a physical ticket as a list of registered attendees will be held at the door. It is advisable however to bring proof of purchase with you by either printing the confirmation email or showing it on your phone/tablet to a staff member if requested.
Megalong Books (ABN 44 394 327538 ) complies with Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a major fault or defect a full refund will be provided. Please note refunds can only be processed to the credit/debit card used for the original purchase.
Tickets to events are refundable up prior to 24 hours before the event. Very occasionally there may be a change to time, date or location of an event. If you are unable to attend because of this change you may request a refund of the ticket price or transfer your ticket purchase to another event. In the unlikely event an event is cancelled you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of purchase and are not refundable.
Change of mind: if you change your mind about a purchase you may exchange for another item(s) within 7 days of the date of purchase as long as the item is in very good condition. The original shipping charge cannot be refunded for change of mind returns, nor can its value be transferred to the new item. You will be responsible for any costs involved in returning the item(s) to us and in sending the new items to you. Goods must be received by us in saleable condition for an exchange to be possible. If the new item(s) cost more than the original purchase you will be required to pay the difference. If they cost less, we can either refund you the difference or issue a gift voucher for this value, at our discretion.
If your item arrives damaged or is not the item that you ordered we can arrange for a replacement. Please contact the shop in the first instance on (02) 47841302 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
While we do our best to ensure that product descriptions displayed on our website are correct, we do not accept any liability for errors that may appear (such as incorrect blurbs, jacket images, etc.). If you have purchased a product from us on the basis of incorrect information displayed on our website, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange for a return and refund.
